Dem Wunsch der Automobilhersteller, Software von verschiedenen Zulieferern, in einem Steuergert zu vereinen, wird AUTOSAR gerecht. FlexRay wurde vom FlexRayKonsortium definiert. XCP wurde von ASAM, getrennt in XCPProtocolLayer und XCPTransportLayer, als Standard verabschiedet. AUTOSAR ist aus der AUTOSARInitiative entstanden. Drei unterschiedliche Standards, von drei unterschiedlichen Vereinigungen. FlexRay wurde bereits von AUTOSAR aufgenommen, XCP bisher nicht behandelt. Eine Integration von XCP in AUTOSAR soll hier eines der Ziele darstellen. XCPProtocolLayer sind in verschiedenen Versionen am Markt erhltlich. Es fehlt am Design und an der Implementierung eines AUTOSAR konformen XCP TransportLayers fr FlexRay. Das hier beschriebene Design und die Implementierung nimmt auf die Spezifikation von XCP und AUTOSAR Rcksicht. Im Anschluss wird XCP, XCP ProtocolLayer und XCPTransportLayer, in AUTOSAR integriert.
